As a Board Member of TEDxCMU, I had three primary responsibilities. The first was contacting world renowned researchers, entrepreneurs, and speakers to give a talk at the annual 2017 TEDx conference. Specializing in entrepreneurship, I was able to get responses from founders of some of today's most interesting companies such as Jeff Bezos, Founder of Amazon, and Charles Geschke, Founder of Adobe.
My second responsibility was managing two of the confirmed speakers, working with them to ensure their talk was as successful as possible. The two speakers I aided were Molly Steenson, a design professor who will talk on how artificial intelligence can be used in design, and Steven Chase, a professor giving a talk on the limits of human learning. My last job was selling tickets and in our first day alone, we were able to sell over 100 tickets, more than our overall attendance at previous TEDxCMU events.

This page showcases what I'm working on right now and what I'm excited to be releasing into the world soon. Currently, I am a freshman at Carnegie Mellon University so this page features many of the projects I am working on as a freshman at CMU. This page will be quite dynamic and ever-changing, so be sure to check back now and then!

Expii is an open education platform that uses a hybrid of human and artificial intelligence to provide every user with a virtual tutor to teach them almost any topic in mathematics. Started by Professor Po-Shen Loh of Carnegie Mellon, who also coached the U.S. team in the Global Math Olympiad, expii was where I was offered my first paid internship.
As a business development intern at Expii, I contacted publications such as the npr Sunday Puzzle, the Pittsburgh Post Gazette, and the Tartan. I also spearheaded a campaign to get high-school students to write content for Expii through Expii Math clubs in which students could compete in an international Face the AI math competition and gain community service hours to write content.

NetScale is the startup I founded my freshman year of college in order to improve networking for Carnegie Mellon students. Using email, my platform allows college students to build a network faster and dig deeper into this network than any other business networking website.
Having started only a few months ago, I have built a management, development and sales team, conducted extensive market research, built a list of 30 users ready to sign-up once development is complete, and built a prototype and information page. We also recently acquired the mentorship of Deloitte consultants and are half completed with a beta website launch.

The UMO, or Undergraduate Marketing Organization, is a club dedicated to the teaching and application of marketing. I participate in the Consulting and Case Competition divisions of the UMO.
In Consulting, we handle the market research and competitive analysis of real clients. Last semester, our client was Nectr, a social rewards platform, and throughout the semester we met with the founders of Nectr to discuss their needs, performed our research, which culminated in a final presentation of our findings to them.
In the Case Competition team, we did market research and customer analysis to brainstorm different marketing strategies for ebay to become more competitive within the e-commerce industry.
